Job description

Who We Are

At Kyndryl, we run and reimagine the mission-critical technology systems that drive advantage for the world’s leading businesses.  We are at the heart of progress; with proven expertise and a continuous flow of AI-powered insight, enabling smarter decisions, faster innovation, and a lasting competitive edge. For our people—Kyndryls—that means doing purposeful work that powers human progress. Join us and experience a flexible, supportive environment where your well-being is prioritized and your potential can thrive.

The Role

If you’re passionate about building business‑critical applications that actually get used—and you want to do that at enterprise scale—this role at Kyndryl is for you.

At Kyndryl, you won’t be building low‑code apps in isolation or for small proof‑of‑concepts. You’ll work with global enterprise clients, modernize core business processes, and help organizations transform how they operate using low‑code platforms. You’ll be trusted to design real solutions, influence architecture decisions, and work closely with business stakeholders who rely on what you build.

Most importantly, Kyndryl is a place where your growth matters. Whether you want to deepen your technical expertise, move into solution architecture, or step into technical leadership, we give you the scale, support, and learning opportunities to get there.

Responsibilities:

Development and Delivery

Design and Build: Develop, test, and deploy robust automation solutions using a combination of platforms (e.g., UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism) and Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate), based on business requirements.

Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with business users and stakeholders across divisions to gather, analyse, and document business process requirements suitable for automation and low-code solutions.

Process Mapping: Create detailed process maps and Solution Design Documents (SDD) to ensure alignment between business needs and the technical solution across RPA and low-code implementations.

Quality Assurance: Support system testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure automation solutions (bots, apps, and workflows) are accurate, reliable, and perform as expected.

Documentation: Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date technical documentation for all developed automation solutions, including bots, apps, and workflows.

Consultancy: Act as a subject matter expert, providing guidance on RPA and Power Platform capabilities, feasibility, best practices, and potential business impact of automation initiatives.

Citizen Development and Training

Engagement: Actively support organisation's in-house programme by guiding staff in developing automations using specific tools and Microsoft Power Platform.

Training Assistance: Assist in the development of training materials, guides, and workshops to onboard and upskill citizen developers in low-code and automation tools.

Governance: Ensure that citizen-developed solutions (bots, apps, and workflows) adhere to the competency centre’s governance, security, and quality standards, including Power Platform governance practices.

Your Future at Kyndryl

At Kyndryl, this role is just the beginning. You’ll have clear opportunities to grow within the engineering job family, deepening your technical expertise or expanding into leadership as your career evolves. With the right drive and performance, you can progress into senior and principal engineering roles, or move toward architecture and executive‑level technology leadership. Along the way, you’ll gain exposure to complex, global initiatives, learn from industry experts, and build a career you can be proud of—one defined by impact, growth, and long‑term success.

Who You Are

You’re good at what you do and possess the required experience to prove it. However, equally as important – you have a growth mindset; keen to drive your own personal and professional development. You are customer-focused – someone who prioritizes customer success in their work. And finally, you’re open and borderless – naturally inclusive in how you work with others.

Required Skills and Experience

Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology (IT), Engineering, or a related field. Applicants with a non-IT or engineering qualification but strong interest in automation, low-code development, and digitalisation will also be considered. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

Strong logical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences and document complex processes.

Proven ability to analyse processes, identify automation opportunities, and translate business needs into technical and low-code solution designs.

Preferred Skills and Experience

Hands-on Experience:

– Development experience with platforms (e.g., UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism)

– Development experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI)

Certifications (preferred for senior positions):

– Microsoft Power Platform Certification (PL-900, PL-100, PL-400, etc)

– UiPath RPA Associate / Developer Certification (or equivalent)

Technical Knowledge:

– Understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies

– Basic knowledge of APIs, data integration, and cloud-based platforms

– Familiarity with governance and security practices for low-code platforms
