About the role: With more than 23.000 highly diverse holiday homes at 260+ destinations in 9 countries Landal is market leader in holiday breaks in nature throughout Europe. We invite you to join us on our mission to grow further. As Growth Marketeer for Belgium (Flanders and Wallonia) you will be responsible for acquiring new and local guests for our parks in Belgium and grow the region as a source market, by creating awareness for the Landal brand and all of our destinations.

With your strong understanding of the Belgium market and culture, you define opportunities and challenges and know how to translate central marketing strategy and activities in effective and efficient campaigns for Belgian and French customers. As such, you are the functional leader of all regional marketing activities, guiding and aligning colleagues across marketing and beyond, in various project teams.

What will you do:

In this role, you will drive the commercial growth and marketing performance for Belgium, continuously optimizing marketing activities and strategies, planning and prioritizing. Key activities in this role are:

Collect and analyze internal and external insights to drive commercial growth in the Belgian market

Develop regional marketing plans and create concise one-pagers that define and maintain the positioning of each park in the region, aligned with the overall brand strategy

Coordinate and optimize multi-channel marketing activities, including hands-on involvement when needed (e.g. email marketing, paid social, Google analytics)

Organize the data-driven evaluation of multi-channel campaigns

Act as the SPOC for all marketing activities related to onboarding new resorts in the region

Connect with the central marketing specialists and other regional teams (UK, DACH, DK) to share knowledge, to align on roadmaps and to increase effectiveness and efficiency

Regularly inform stakeholders, sharing and presenting marketing insights and actively engaging in building strong relationships

Create and maintain clear presentations, roadmaps and overviews

Manage budgets, and set OKRs to ensure continuous improvement

Your workplace is our office in Amsterdam. Ofcourse, working from home is a possibility, but we would like to see you in the office at least 3 times per week in a fulltime setting.

This is you: We are looking for a commercially driven marketer who brings structure to a complex and dynamic environment. You maintain a strong overview and are highly flexible. You are a collaborative, communicative and outgoing professional who builds strong relationships across teams and stakeholders. You are hands-on and proactive, you step in where needed and are not afraid to roll up your sleeves. Furthermore you bring:

  • 5+ years of experience in commercial marketing within a direct-to-consumer (mass market) environment
  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent academic working and thinking level
  • Native-level Dutch/Flemish and strong French, and a strong understanding of the Belgian (and preferably also French) market and culture
  • Preferably experience within travel, leisure, tourism, with knowledge of relevant channels and audiences
  • Understanding of the holiday park, summer house or private rental market is a strong advantage
  • Proven ability to develop and launch creative campaigns, brand stories and activation concepts independently, without relying on agencies
  • A strong commercial mindset with the ability to translate insights and data into growth opportunities
  • Experience in managing campaigns end-to-end, from strategy and concept to execution and optimization
  • A data-driven way of working, using performance insights to continuously improve results
  • Experience with OKRs, quarterly roadmaps, structured marketing planning and budget management
  • Strong in stakeholder management

A one-year contract with a two-month probation period in accordance with the Recreation Collective Labour Agreement (CAO Recreatie), with the intention of offering a permanent contract.

A gross monthly salary between €4,005 and €4,840 based on full-time employment*, excluding holiday allowance.

25 vacation days based on a full-time work week*. If you work 40 hours per week, you will accrue 94 ADV hours.

Flexible working hours and the possibility to work from home.

A home working allowance of €2.45 per home working day.

Travel allowance in line with Landal policy at €0.23 per kilometre.

Full reimbursement of public transport commuting costs, encouraging employees to travel sustainably.

Participation in the Recreation Pension Fund. The standard retirement age is 67. The total pension contribution is 21.8% of the pension base, shared equally between you and Landal.
