The Role

• Design, build, and maintain ETL pipelines to support reliable data integration and accessibility.
• Develop and maintain data storage environments and supporting infrastructure.
• Create and enhance data models to improve performance, quality, and usability.
• Manage data extraction processes and integrate new data sources into existing platforms.
• Monitor data availability, system performance, and platform health.
• Build and maintain business-relevant applications that improve stakeholder efficiency.
• Collaborate with central IT teams to ensure alignment on technology and governance.
• Support, train, and mentor junior team members while contributing to the wider data capability of the organisation.

Your Skills & Experience

• Strong commercial experience building and maintaining modern data platforms.
• Hands-on expertise with Azure, Databricks, dbt, Power BI, and Unity Catalog.
• Strong SQL and Python skills, with additional scripting experience beneficial.
• Deep understanding of data modelling, database technologies, and data management best practices.
• Experience designing scalable data architectures and data integration solutions.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience supporting and enabling colleagues through training, coaching, or knowledge sharing.
