Supervisor, Piping

Supervise and coordinate piping installation, fabrication, erection, testing, and reinstatement activities at the project site.

Manage piping foremen, pipe fitters, welders, helpers, and subcontractor manpower to ensure efficient execution of work.

Monitor progress of piping works and ensure completion within approved project schedules.

Coordinate with engineering, QA/QC, HSE, planning, and other disciplines to resolve site-related issues and maintain smooth workflow.

Ensure piping installation is carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, welding procedures, and quality standards.

Verify correct materials, pipe spools, valves, fittings, supports, and consumables are available before starting work.

Supervise piping fabrication, fit-up, welding, alignment, installation of supports, and mechanical completion activities.

Ensure proper execution of piping pressure testing, flushing, cleaning, drying, and reinstatement activities.

Monitor welding activities and ensure compliance with approved WPS, PQR, and project welding requirements.

Ensure compliance with company HSE procedures, client safety requirements, and permit-to-work systems.

Conduct regular site inspections and safety briefings to ensure safe working practices.

Ensure proper housekeeping and maintain an organized and safe working environment.

Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical qualification.

Minimum 8 years of experience in piping construction activities.

Strong knowledge of piping fabrication, erection, installation, and testing activities.

Familiarity with ASME B31.3, API standards, welding procedures, and inspection requirements.

Willingness to work in remote locations as required.

Ability to use hand and power tools safely.

Strong problem-solving and teamwork abilities.

Effective communication skills.
