  Primarily responsible for ensuring that work instructions issued from the Team Lead, warehouse supervisor or higher management are correctly executed and are carried out in line with the company’s policies and procedures. The highest regard for safety for self and for fellow man is always maintained, especially when driving a forklift whenever required to do so. To pick and pack orders accurately and neatly and to always act with the company’s best interests in mind,  

About the Job

• Ensure that all duties assigned are carried out according to the policies and procedures set forth by the company.

• The forklift is driven safely, and the weekly forklift checklist is completed and filed.

• Perform picking, packing, and packaging and / shrink wrapping of orders as per the standards stipulated.

• Prepare and complete delivery documentation: tally sheets, goods receipt notes (GRNs) and delivery advice as may be assigned from time to time

• Ensure that goods are handled into, within and out of the warehouse in a manner which will not cause damage to the goods, to the warehouse or to the delivery vehicles.

• Ensure that the warehouse is always kept clean and tidy through regular housekeeping

• Report any misconduct by contractors / drivers on site immediately.

• Always uphold the image of the company.

• Updating stock reports for customers may be required from time to time.

• Creating and maintaining warehouse job files as may be required from time to time.

• Sending stock reports for the customer on request and monthly as may be required from time to time.

• Ensure that adequate safety equipment and uniforms are always worn when in the warehouse and / or yard.

• Report all accidents / incidents / damages or near accidents /incidents / damages / damages immediately to the WIC / warehouse snr. supervisor

• Conduct stock checks and reconciliations as may be required from time to time

• Must be willing to work overtime from time to time as may be required

• Perform other ad hoc tasks as may be required from time to time

About You

•  Must have valid UAE forklift driving license

•   Knowledge of warehousing processes.

•   Communicate in English
