Role Description

The Quality Assurance Automation Engineer role at Lattice AI is a 1 year contract (extendable), on-site position based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. You will build and maintain automated tests across the platform, covering API, UI (Playwright), and integration flows, scoped together with the QA lead. For example one of the core focus area is data-pipeline integrity: schema and data-quality checks, reconciliation, and catching corruption before it spreads. Day to day, you will write and extend end-to-end scenarios, run regression, triage failures and escalate cleanly, and contribute to contract tests that keep modules honest as they change. You will keep test data, mocks, and reports in good shape, and with guidance you will grow into evaluating non-deterministic ML/LLM behaviour and performance testing as the platform expands.

Qualifications

• 4 to 10 years in QA automation.
• Solid Python and hands-on automation experience with Playwright (UI) and API testing.
• Comfort with SQL and basic data validation.
• Understanding of CI pipelines and quality gates.
• Clear written communication: readable test cases and bug reports.
• Genuinely fast learner, curious about how the whole system fits together, and coachable.
• Ability to work on-site in Abu Dhabi, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and communicate clearly in written and spoken English.

Nice to Have (or Will Learn Here)

• Data-quality tooling, contract testing, or performance testing (k6, Locust, JMeter).
• Exposure to ML/LLM evaluation or ground-truth datasets.
• Security and access testing (RBAC, multi-tenant isolation).
• Comfort in an AI/agent-based test tooling setup.
