Job description

Logitech is the Sweet Spot for people who want their actions to have a positive global impact while having the flexibility to do it in their own way.

The Role

Senior Hardware Product User Experience Designer

Level: I3

Location: Lausanne, Switzerland

Working model: Hybrid (2–3 days/week in the office)

We’re looking for a Senior Hardware Product User Experience Designer who thrives in complexity, precision and enjoys turning technical systems into simple, elegant user experiences. You’ll be part of Logitech’s Global User Experience team, supporting both the Gaming and Personal Workspace categories — two of the company’s most dynamic and fast-evolving business groups.

This is a unique hybrid role combining:

Hardware Product User Experience design on platform topics such as connectivity and product behavior. You will create guidelines to harmonize experiences across products.

Keyboard layout design, requiring high attention to detail, precision, and strong visual craft.

You are a systems thinker with strong product instincts, equally comfortable designing high-level architecture and crafting pixel-perfect layouts. You care deeply about how things work—not just how they look—and you’re motivated by solving real user problems across hardware and software.

Responsibilities

Product & Platform Experience

Design end-to-end product experiences across hardware interactions with firmware and software in mind

Contribute to platform-level UX topics (e.g., connectivity, device behaviors, system interactions)

Translate complex technical constraints into clear, intuitive user experiences

Define information architecture and interaction models for complex systems

Keyboard Layout Design

Own and design complex keyboard layouts across multiple products, operating systems, and regions

Create precise, production-ready layout files with strong attention to detail

Ensure consistency across languages, markets, and product lines

Collaborate closely with hardware, engineering, and localization teams to align on constraints

Maintain and evolve standards, guidelines, and assets for keyboard layouts

Logitech Design System Contribution

Contribute to the evolution of the Logitech Design System

Define and document platform (e.g., Bluetooth Connectivity) and product guidelines (e.g., Webcam guidelines)

Ensure alignment between design and engineering implementation (design ↔ firmware engineering)

Identify opportunities to standardize and scale solutions across products and platforms

Actively contribute to consistency across Logitech product experiences

Collaborate with design system and platform teams to improve reusability and quality

Key Qualifications

For consideration, you must bring the following minimum skills and experiences to our team:

Design & Systems Thinking

Strong experience designing complex consumer hardware products

Strong portfolio showcasing hardware design solutions (e.g., consumer electronics, mobile, ergonomic products, etc.)

Ability to translate product work into reusable guidelines

Deep understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies

Craft & Execution

Strong visual and interaction design skills with a high bar for quality and detail

Excellent understanding of typography, layout and visual hierarchy

Exceptional attention to detail and ability to deliver production-ready assets

Understanding of localization challenge, typography, and spatial constraints

Tools & Technical

Advanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator

Experience with Figma

3D application is a plus

Collaboration & Communication

Experience working closely with engineering and product teams

Strong storytelling and presentation skills

Strong in communication with multiple stakeholders and teams

Comfortable navigating ambiguity and fast-paced environments

Life at Logitech

Logitech is the sweet spot for people passionate about products, making a mark, and having fun doing it. As a company, we’re small and flexible enough for every person to take initiative and make things happen. But we’re big enough in our portfolio, and reach, for those actions to have a global impact. That’s a pretty sweet spot; we always strive to keep it that way.

Across Logitech, we empower collaboration and foster play. We help teams collaborate/learn from anywhere without compromising on productivity or continuity, so it should be no surprise that most of our jobs are open to work from home from most locations. Our hybrid work model allows some employees to work remotely while others work on-premises. Within this structure, teams or departments may split between working remotely and in-house.

Logitech is a fantastic workplace because it is full of authentic people who are inclusive by nature and design. Being a global company, we value our diversity and celebrate all our differences. Don’t meet every single requirement? Not a problem. If you feel you are the right candidate, we strongly recommend you apply. We want to meet you!

We offer comprehensive and competitive benefits packages and working environments designed to be flexible and help you care for yourself and your loved ones, now and in the future. Good health means more than getting medical care when needed. Logitech supports a culture that encourages individuals to achieve good physical, financial, emotional, intellectual, and social well-being so we all can create, achieve and enjoy more and support our families. We can’t wait to tell you more about them. There are too many to list here, and they vary based on location.

“All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, sex, age, color, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, protected veteran status, or based on disability.”

If you require accommodation to complete any part of the application process or are limited in the ability, or are unable to access or use this online application process and need an alternative method for applying, you may contact us at 510-713-4866 for assistance.
