Job description
We are looking for a intern (m/f/diverse) in the area of Radar ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) from August 2026 on for at least 6 months at our location Lindau (Germany).
Your tasks include:

Supporting in Radar pre-development w.r.t algorithms, signal processing and radar data evaluation

Literature research on radar MMIC bring-up procedures and NVIDIA Orin platform integration
-
Setup and configuration of HW toolchain to interface radar MMIC with NVIDIA Orin (power, SPI, MIPI, clocking)
-
Development of low-level firmware (C/C++) for MMIC initialization, configuration, and timing control
-
Implementation and verification of precise timing synchronization between MMIC and Orin processing pipeline

Setup of SW toolchain for data acquisition, driver integration, and real-time data streaming on Orin

Development and testing of signal processing pipeline to generate radar detections from raw ADC data

Optional: Performance evaluation and optimization of processing latency and throughput on NVIDIA Orin

Student (m/f/divers) in Electrical Engineering or a similar field of study

Basic knowledge in Radar and embedded Design
-
Good IT skills and experience in MATLAB and/or Python & C/C++
-
Basic experience in development of IT projects

Very good english skills (written and spoken) are absolutely essential for us
-
Any experience in the field of Radar, RF and/or antennas is preferable
In addition to these qualifications we are also looking for certain characeristics and traits:

Interest in working in an international team

Soft skills (quick comprehension, analytical thinking, independent work, high level of commitment)

Additionally, we require a confirmation from your university regarding the completion of a mandatory internship in order to process your application.
