ABOUT CODESPHERE

Codesphere is a Virtual Cloud Provider from Germany building the future of sovereign cloud infrastructure. Our platform gives enterprises and governments full sovereignty without giving up modern cloud capability – a vision recently validated by a series of multi-million European government tenders.

Since our founding in Karlsruhe in 2020, we’ve expanded into an international team of 60+ experts. Based in Karlsruhe and Munich and backed by top-tier investors, we are chasing a bold vision.

We’re scaling fast and would love for you to join us and grow alongside us πŸš€

SUMMARY

In this role, you're the link between what the market needs and what we build – working closely with Sales to win deals and with Engineering to make sure every customer insight shapes our roadmap.

WHAT YOU'LL DRIVE

  • You lead in-depth technical discovery sessions to understand enterprise customers' IT landscapes, deployment workflows, and security requirements.

  • You translate customer needs into scalable, effective architecture proposals that bring the value of Codesphere to life.

  • You build tailored demos, showcases, and proof-of-concepts to demonstrate technical feasibility and the superiority of our solution.

  • You present complex topics confidently to diverse audiences – from individual developers to C-level executives.

  • You gather technical insights from the market and help continuously sharpen our product roadmap and go-to-market strategy.

WHAT MAKES YOU A GREAT FIT

  • You have hands-on experience in roles such as Solution Architecture, Pre-Sales, DevOps, or Platform Engineering.

  • You hold a degree in a relevant field or bring equivalent experience.

  • You bring deep knowledge of modern development workflows (CI/CD), containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and cloud infrastructure.

  • You can quickly grasp complex problems and translate them into clear, scalable architecture concepts.

  • You communicate technical concepts effectively to any audience and are confident presenting to both technical and business stakeholders.

  • You're comfortable navigating complex enterprise environments and working with a wide range of stakeholders.

  • You enjoy close collaboration across Sales, Engineering, and Product to drive customer success together.

WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU

  • 30+ vacation days – including Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve, adding up to 32 days per year

  • Meal allowance – up to 15 digital meal vouchers per month, worth up to €7.67 each

  • Flexibility – hybrid work setup with mobile work options and flexibility around core hours

  • Steep learning curve – fast-moving environment, real ownership, and a front-row seat to scaling a company

  • Job-Rad – lease a bike through us, tax-free

  • Gym access – stay active on site (Karlsruhe office only)

  • Employee events – from team offsites to regular get-togethers

  • Company pension scheme – company-supported pension to set you up for later

  • Great public transport links – both offices are within walking distance of tram and metro stops
