Retail Operations Manager

Location: Saudi Arabia (KSA)

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Retail Operations Manager to oversee the retail operations of our luxury watches and jewellery business in Saudi Arabia. The role is responsible for driving operational excellence, achieving commercial objectives, maintaining luxury retail standards, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience across all boutiques.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in luxury retail operations, preferably within the watches and jewellery sector, with proven capabilities in boutique management, team leadership, inventory control, and business performance improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily retail operations across boutiques, ensuring smooth execution of company policies, operational procedures, and luxury brand standards.
  • Develop and implement retail operational strategies to support sales growth, profitability, and overall business objectives.
  • Monitor boutique performance and retail KPIs, including sales achievement, productivity, conversion, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
  • Partner with Boutique Managers to improve sales performance, team effectiveness, and customer experience.
  • Conduct regular boutique visits to ensure operational excellence, compliance, and consistent luxury service standards.
  • Ensure effective inventory management, stock accuracy, stock movement, replenishment, and loss prevention procedures.
  • Collaborate with Retail, Brand, Merchandising, Marketing, Finance, HR, Supply Chain, and Visual Merchandising teams to support business initiatives.
  • Support boutique openings, renovations, relocations, and retail expansion projects.
  • Develop and implement retail SOPs, operational guidelines, and best practices to improve efficiency and consistency.
  • Lead, coach, and develop Boutique Managers and retail teams to achieve performance targets and deliver exceptional client experiences.
  • Support workforce planning, recruitment, training, and employee development initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, local regulations, audit requirements, and global brand standards.
  • Analyze sales reports, operational data, market trends, and customer insights to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Prepare regular operational reports, performance reviews, and recommendations for senior management.
  • Maintain strong relationships with luxury brand principals and internal stakeholders to ensure effective business collaboration.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of retail experience, including 4 years in a retail operations management role within luxury watches, jewellery, fashion, or premium retail in the GCC.
  • Strong experience managing multiple boutiques or retail locations.
  • Proven track record in driving sales performance, operational excellence, and customer service standards.
  • Experience with luxury watches and jewellery brands is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of luxury retail operations, inventory management, retail KPIs, and client experience.
  • Experience leading and developing retail teams in a premium environment.
  • Excellent analytical, leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to work with global brands and cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and retail systems (POS/ERP/CRM experience is an advantage).
  • Fluency in English is required; Arabic language skills are preferred.
  • This position is based in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA). Candidates currently residing in KSA are preferred; however, applications are also welcome from candidates who are willing to relocate to KSA.
