Job description

YOUR MISSION & CHALLENGES

Together, we are taking the next step into the era of cognitive and humanoid robotics.

As a hands-on Production Planner, you will shape the future of our manufacturing systems and actively contribute to building the elements of the NEURA Production System.

You will work at the interface between Engineering, Production, Quality, Logistics, and Plant Engineering, with the goal of designing efficient, stable, and future-proof production systems as well as value and data streams.

Your goal:

To create digital, efficient, robust, and scalable manufacturing concepts through Lean principles, data-driven value stream and process analyses, and innovative technical approaches.

Your Main Responsibilities

  • You will support, optimize, and stabilize value streams—from raw material logistics to the finished robotic system.

  • You will assist with product and process releases during series ramp-up and coordinate engineering changes.

  • You will analyze production and work processes, identify bottlenecks, and develop sustainable improvement measures.

  • You will apply Lean methodologies and value stream analysis to systematically reduce waste in material, information, and data flows while continuously improving production system standards.

  • You will support the implementation of new methods as well as robot-assisted and automated manufacturing systems, including the necessary digitalization steps and IT processes (MES, data analytics).

  • You will design material, information, and data flows, conduct time studies and layout analyses, and derive stable standards from the results.

  • You will collaborate closely with Engineering, Quality, Production, and Logistics to establish effective end-to-end process solutions.

  • You will coordinate the creation and change management of manufacturing-related documentation (e.g., FMEA, BOM, Control Plans, work instructions, etc.).

WHAT EXCITES US

You are a constructive and hands-on professional who wants to actively shape the future of modern robotic systems.

You are characterized by a strong sense of quality, technical expertise, and a solution-oriented mindset. In addition, you bring:

  • A completed Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Production Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.

  • Several years of experience applying Lean methodologies, value stream analysis, and value stream design—including information and data flows—for the continuous improvement and optimization of high-volume production of mechatronic products.

  • A solid fundamental understanding of manufacturing engineering and industrial engineering methods; REFA or MTM certifications are considered an advantage.

  • A hands-on mentality combined with a structured and analytical way of working.

  • The ability to actively drive and implement change processes.

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills in interdisciplinary projects.

  • Fluent German and English language skills, both written and spoken.
