Algorithmic Cyber Underwriter / AI-Driven Cyber Underwriting Lead

Your Tasks

• Develop and apply algorithmic and AI-driven underwriting approaches in the cyber line of business
• Design and implement AI use cases across the underwriting value chain, such as: risk assessment of cyber submissions, pricing decision support and offering functions
• Build and apply prompting strategies to enhance underwriting analysis and decision-making
• Leverage modern technologies, agent-based systems and decision engines
• Translate underwriting expertise into scalable, data-driven models and decision frameworks
• Continuously improve underwriting quality, consistency and speed through automation and AI
• Analyze and optimize underwriting processes with a focus on scalability and standardization
• Collaborate closely with underwriting, IT and data science to develop and deploy solutions
• Ensure integration of algorithmic underwriting approaches into existing systems and workflows

Your Profile

• Strong experience in cyber underwriting
• Strong understanding of risk assessment, pricing and underwriting decision logic
• Experience in process optimization, automation or transformation
• Interest in or hands-on experience with AI, machine learning or prompt engineering
• Understanding of data analytics and modern technologies
• Experience in leading projects as well as stakeholder management, e.g. board members, senior executives
• Strong analytical mindset combined with a hands-on, solution-oriented approach
• High level of initiative and motivation to shape new underwriting approaches
• Strong communication skills and ability to work across business and technology teams
• Written and spoken English proficiency; business-level proficiency in English or German
