Job description
Job Title: Draftsman
Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE
Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Draftsman to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will prepare accurate technical drawings and detailed shop drawings for restaurants, exhibitions, fit-out projects, and event infrastructure while coordinating closely with architects, engineers, and project managers.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed 2D and 3D technical drawings using AutoCAD and other drafting software.
- Develop architectural, structural, and MEP shop drawings.
- Prepare detailed fit-out drawings for restaurants, cafés, exhibitions, kiosks, stages, and event facilities.
- Produce construction drawings, as-built drawings, and revision drawings.
- Coordinate drawings with architects, engineers, consultants, and project managers.
- Ensure drawings comply with Abu Dhabi Municipality, Civil Defense, and relevant authority requirements.
- Review design documents and identify discrepancies before construction.
- Prepare material layouts, BOQs, and quantity take-offs when required.
- Update drawings according to site conditions and consultant comments.
- Maintain proper documentation and drawing revisions.
- Support site teams by providing technical drawing solutions throughout project execution.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Drafting.
- Minimum 3–5 years of drafting experience in the UAE.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory).
- Experience with Revit, SketchUp, or BIM software is an advantage.
- Experience in fit-out, restaurants, exhibitions, and event infrastructure projects is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of Abu Dhabi authority submission requirements.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Salary
AED 4,000 – AED 8,000 per month (depending on experience and qualifications).
Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
