Job description

The project:

A Large multipurpose Venue for long-term use as a versatile hub for sports, entertainment, and community events in the heart of Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Advises on procurement strategies, contract selection, and procurement reporting while applying value management techniques to optimise project outcomes.
  • Leads estimating and cost planning activities, owning and presenting final cost plans to stakeholders.
  • Manages end-to-end procurement processes, including prequalification, tendering, evaluation, contractor selection, and contract preparation.
  • Develops and maintains strong internal and external stakeholder relationships to support successful project delivery.
  • Oversees preparation and execution of contract documents, warranties, bonds, licences, valuations, cost checking, and financial reporting.
  • Directs cost control activities, managing design changes, contract awards, construction costs, client charges, claims, and final account negotiations.
  • Ensures contractual compliance through the administration of practical completion, defects liability, final completion certificates, and associated approvals.
  • Leads and develops high-performing teams through performance management, coaching, continuous improvement initiatives, and support for net zero carbon objectives.

You’ll need to have:

  • Minimum 14 years relevant experience in cost planning, procurement, and contract administration, including 5+ years leading project cost teams.
