Job description

The project:

A Large multipurpose Venue for long-term use as a versatile hub for sports, entertainment, and community events in the heart of Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Conduct feasibility studies, develop procurement strategies, recommend contract selection approaches, and prepare procurement reports to support project objectives.
  • Lead value management, cost planning, estimating activities, and take ownership of developing and presenting final cost plans.
  • Support contractor procurement and selection, prepare contract documentation, and advise on contract administration and execution requirements.
  • Measure and value completed works, assess variations, provide cost control and reporting, and deliver financial reports to clients.
  • Monitor and identify costs related to design changes, contract awards, construction activities, and client-driven requirements.
  • Evaluate contractor claims for delays and additional costs, negotiate final accounts, and advise on completion, defect rectification, and final completion certifications.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, enhance systems and processes, and support transformational change across project delivery.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships, mentor and guide junior team members, and promote net zero carbon objectives through proactive carbon management and reduction initiatives.

You’ll need to have:

  • Minimum 8 years relevant experience in cost management, quantity surveying, or commercial roles on major construction projects.
