Your day at NTT DATA
As a Client Manager at NTT DATA, your role will center on building and nurturing relationships with assigned Small and Medium Business (SMB) accounts, ensuring client satisfaction, driving revenue growth, and expanding opportunities across our technology and cloud solution portfolio, with a strong focus on AWS solutions. You'll utilize our leading technologies and methodologies to understand clients' business needs and deliver tailored solutions that help them achieve their digital transformation goals.
You'll manage and grow strategic client relationships by leveraging consultative selling, strategic planning, and account management best practices, coordinating with our global network of offices, technical architects, and solutions engineers to deliver exceptional client experiences. Your focus will include achieving revenue and margin targets, minimizing client churn, maximizing customer retention, and identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities throughout the customer lifecycle.
By utilizing your extensive knowledge of modern technology sales methodologies, cloud services, and market trends, you will develop and implement account strategies that drive long-term customer success. You'll work closely with major stakeholders to identify business opportunities, provide strategic guidance on AWS solutions, contribute to revenue growth, and support clients through every stage of their buying journey.
You will be utilizing major CRM tools to manage accounts, opportunities, sales pipelines, forecasts, and customer collaboration activities. You will proactively identify, develop, negotiate, and close new business opportunities while analyzing customer requirements, planning strategically, and collaborating across geographies to meet and exceed sales quotas and KPIs.
As the primary point of contact for your clients, you'll tackle customer challenges, ensure client satisfaction, and lead contract, pricing, and service agreement negotiations. You will partner with internal teams to translate client requirements into scalable technology and AWS cloud solutions that deliver measurable business value and long-term success.
To thrive in this role, you need to have:
- Strong sales and business acumen, with expertise in consultative and solution-based selling, strategic account planning, and achieving revenue targets.
- 5 years or more of proven experience managing client relationships throughout the customer lifecycle, driving customer satisfaction, retention, and revenue growth through upselling and cross-selling.
- Strong understanding of AWS services, cloud technologies, and the ability to translate customer business needs into impactful cloud solutions.
- Knowledge of NTT DATA's technology offerings, client use cases, market trends, and competitive landscape.
- Ability to identify, develop, advance, negotiate, and close opportunities within assigned accounts and prospects.
- Experience working in technology sales, account management, or business development, preferably within the SMB segment and exposure to customers across the Middle East and Africa region.
- Proficiency in Salesforce or other CRM platforms for opportunity management, pipeline tracking, forecasting, and reporting.
- Strong collaboration skills with the ability to align internal stakeholders, including technical architects, solutions engineers, and delivery teams, around a common customer vision.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
