Structural Foreman

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Structural Site Foreman to supervise and coordinate structural steel erection activities on construction sites. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in steel structures, PEB, heavy steel fabrication, and erection works, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and in accordance with approved drawings and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily structural steel erection activities at the project site.
• Allocate manpower, equipment, cranes, and tools efficiently.
• Interpret structural drawings, GA drawings, erection drawings, and connection details.
• Coordinate steel erection, alignment, bolting, welding, grouting, and final fixing works.
• Ensure work is executed according to approved method statements and project specifications.
• Monitor erection sequence and lifting operations with the lifting supervisor.
• Coordinate with Site Engineers, Project Engineers, QA/QC Engineers, Safety Officers, and subcontractors.
• Conduct daily toolbox talks and enforce all HSE requirements.
• Inspect incoming steel materials before installation.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of structural members.
• Monitor productivity and maintain daily progress reports.
• Identify and resolve site issues affecting project progress.
• Ensure completion of punch list items before handover.
• Verify dimensions, levels, plumbness, and alignment during erection.
• Coordinate crane operations and lifting schedules.
• Supervise welding, bolt tightening, torque checks, and structural corrections.
• Ensure housekeeping and maintain a safe work environment.
• Report manpower, equipment, delays, and material shortages to management.
• Support project completion within schedule and budget.

Required Qualifications

• Diploma or ITI in Civil, Mechanical, or Structural Engineering (preferred).
• Minimum 5–8 years of experience as a Structural Foreman.
• Minimum 3 years GCC experience in structural steel erection.
• Experience in Industrial, Commercial, Warehouse, and High-Rise Steel Structure projects.
• Experience with PEB, Heavy Structural Steel, and Miscellaneous Steel works.
