BIM ENGINEER / COORDINATOR

We are seeking a highly skilled Architectural BIM Engineer to join our project team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and coordinating BIM models, producing architectural and steel shop drawings, and supporting project delivery through effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. This role requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and experience in the steel structure or construction industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and coordinate integrated BIM models for architectural and steel structure projects.
• Prepare detailed architectural drawings and steel shop drawings using Revit and AutoCAD.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely project delivery.
• Prepare material take-offs, Bills of Quantities (BOQs), and quantity reports.
• Generate as-built drawings and project documentation.
• Implement design revisions and maintain document control throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct clash detection and resolve coordination issues using BIM workflows.
• Perform site visits to verify construction progress, assess site conditions, and identify potential issues.
• Review architectural and engineering drawings for compliance with project requirements, industry standards, and applicable building codes.
• Analyze building plans to support structural coordination and estimate material and labor requirements.
• Prepare technical specifications for project materials and equipment.
• Communicate regularly with clients and project teams to provide updates and ensure project objectives are achieved.
• Apply international BIM standards and best practices to improve project quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Architecture.
• Experience working in the steel structure or construction industry.
• Proven expertise in Building Information Modeling (BIM) and multidisciplinary coordination.
• Experience in architectural detailing, steel detailing, and construction documentation.

Technical Skills

• Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit.
• Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD for architectural and steel detailing.
• Experience preparing coordinated BIM models, shop drawings, BOQs, and as-built documentation.
• Familiarity with BIM coordination and document management processes.
