Litco Industries is a leading engineering and contracting company specializing in steel structures and metal works projects across Saudi Arabia. We are looking for an experienced Project Engineer who can successfully manage projects from planning through final handover while ensuring quality, safety, and client satisfaction.

Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Project Engineer to oversee the complete lifecycle of construction projects, from planning, mobilization, and foundation works through execution, inspections, testing, handover, and project close-out. The successful candidate will coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with project specifications and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage projects from planning, mobilization, foundation works, execution, inspections, handover, and final project completion.
  • Coordinate project activities to ensure work progresses according to the approved schedule, specifications, and budget.
  • Review contract documents, construction drawings, BOQs, specifications, and shop drawings prior to project execution.
  • Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal departments throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Supervise subcontractors and monitor productivity, quality of work, and compliance with project requirements.
  • Attend project meetings with clients, consultants, and stakeholders, and provide technical support and project updates.
  • Prepare project schedules, monitor progress, identify delays, and implement corrective actions where necessary.
  • Coordinate procurement activities and ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
  • Prepare, submit, and follow up on project documentation including Material Inspection Requests (MIR), Work Inspection Requests (WIR), Work Method Statements (WMS/WMR), Requests for Information (RFI), Material Submittals, Shop Drawing Submittals, Inspection Requests, and other required technical documentation.
  • Coordinate inspections with consultants and clients, ensuring timely approvals and closure of inspection comments.
  • Ensure all site activities comply with approved drawings, project specifications, contract requirements, and applicable quality standards.
  • Monitor project costs, material usage, and resource allocation to support efficient project execution.
  • Work closely with QA/QC and HSE teams to ensure compliance with quality and safety requirements.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports and maintain accurate project records.
  • Resolve technical and construction-related issues through coordination with engineering, design, and site teams.
  • Support project testing, commissioning (where applicable), final inspections, handover documentation, and project close-out.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related Engineering discipline.
  • Minimum 4–8 years of experience as a Project Engineer in the construction industry.
  • Proven experience managing projects from planning, foundation works, execution, inspections, and handover through to successful project completion.
  • Experience coordinating and managing subcontractors, consultants, clients, suppliers, and internal project teams throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Strong experience attending consultant and client meetings, resolving technical issues, and coordinating project approvals.
  • Hands-on experience preparing, submitting, and following up on project documentation, including MIR, WIR, WMS/WMR, RFIs, Material Submittals, Inspection Requests, Shop Drawing Submittals, Daily/Weekly/Monthly Progress Reports, and other project-related documentation.
