People Operations Supervisor (Payroll) DACH (m/w/d)
Key Responsibilities:
PAYROLL, ADMINISTRATION & SYSTEMS
- Timely and accurate payroll administration activities management providing inputs to our payroll provider in assigned countries
- HR team interface to the central finance team for payroll, audit, yearend, quarterly and monthly reporting activities in assigned countries
- Benefits administration such as group insurance, pension schemes, company benefit and recognition programs, management of changes in collective agreements
- Maintenance of employee master data
- Responsible for data accuracy of core data in all relevant systems (i.e. payroll systems, time tracking systems, Absence Management in Workday). Partner up with HR specialists for further systems
- Customer-friendly resolution of employee enquiries, questions and issues related to Payroll topics
- First point of contact/escalation point for specific questions for General Managers/HODs regarding their team members in the area of responsibility
- Together with the hotel General Manager and Financial Controller ensure that the hotels comply with company policy, process, and local legislation
- Ensure that employee matters are properly executed and recorded at local level following the guidance of the specialist departments.
- Provide comprehensive employee relations support to the business, managing risk for the Company and being a trusted advisor (in the absence of an Employee and Labor Relations Specialist)
- Support the hotel management in communication with national authorities and external social partners
- Maintain in depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partner with local lawyers when needed/required
Qualifikationen
Your Profile & Skills
- Proven HR experience with strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent leadership abilities with a hands-on, lead-by-example approach.
- Fluent in German and English (written and spoken).
- Passion for hospitality and commitment to exceptional guest service.
- Creative thinker with the ability to provide practical advice and solutions.
- High level of integrity and resilience in a fast-paced, demanding environmen
