Project Overview The Ar Rjum Project comprises a green field gold project with three open pit mining operations with associated waste dumps and ore stockpile, a processing plant, tailings management facilities, and supporting infrastructure including water supply, power supply, maintenance facilities, offices, temporary and permanent accommodation village.

The Project is situated within the Central Arabian Gold Region, approximately 200 km north-east of Taif towards Riyadh and about 26 km South of Al Mouwayh, which is a small town situated on the Jeddah - Riyadh highway.

Job Summary In this role, you will plan, develop, and review control systems design work, produce drawings and documentation, and prepare design estimates for a project. You will coordinate with clients, facilitate technical discussions, and review and approve drawings, calculations, and bid summaries. You will solve complex technical issues and ensure control systems designs comply with all regulations and standards.

Major Responsibilities

• Creation of models and drawings in support of Design, Permitting and Construction that are completed in accordance with timelines, quality, and cost objectives
• Review of consultant/contractor 3D models and drawings per client CAD and BIM Standards
• Support the management of the drawing mark-up process including maintaining all previous mark-up and revision history
• Be proactive in coordinating project drawing requirements between design colleagues, project managers and external consultants
• Provide CAD drafting and Revit modeling services and technical support to the project teams as required.
• Produces model, drawings (including drafting) and documentation in accordance with established design standards for civil works, i.e. earthwork, road and drainage structures, MEP and Architectural works
• Ensure the drawings produced are fully coordinated among all the disciplines and the stakeholder requirements.

Education And Experience Requirements

• Minimum 10 years’ experience (ideally 13 years’ experience) post qualification including at least 5 within a BIM environment
• Experience in Autodesk AutoCAD, Civil 3D and Revit Multidiscipline suites
• Experience in production of CSA/MEP drawings.
• Experience in drawing office data registers and repositories.
• Familiar with developing designs in project models using appropriate families, systems, etc for all the disciplines
• Have experience in the validation of as-built information against Client Requirements.

Required Knowledge And Skills

• Sound knowledge of drafting techniques, engineering drawings, graphic arts, reading of drawings, and reproduction methods used by the discipline
• Expertise in reading, interpreting and using related documents
