Quantity Surveyor - MEP

We are seeking a highly motivated and commercially astute professional with 10+ years of experience managing the cost and commercial aspects of major construction projects, with a strong background in hospitality and mixed-use developments .

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate quantity take-offs, BOQs, and cost estimates
• Manage project budgets and monitor MEP costs throughout the project lifecycle
• Evaluate subcontractor quotations and manage procurement processes
• Administer contracts, variations, progress valuations, and final accounts
• Prepare regular commercial reports and cost forecasts
• Identify commercial risks and recommend cost-saving initiatives
• Support successful project delivery while maintaining quality, budget, and schedule objectives

Requirements

• Bachelor's in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• Minimum 10 years' experience as an MEP Quantity Surveyor
• Proven experience delivering hospitality (hotels/resorts) and mixed-use construction projects
• Strong expertise in MEP quantity take-offs, cost planning, budgeting, procurement, contract administration, variations, valuations, and final accounts
• Solid understanding of construction contracts and commercial management
• Ability to work collaboratively with project teams, consultants, clients, and subcontractors
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and quantity surveying/estimating software (CostX, Bluebeam, PlanSwift, or equivalent)
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
