Job description

IC İçtaş Construction is a global brand with over 50 years of experience in domestic and international projects. Since its establishment, the company has successfully completed numerous projects ranging from airports, ports, marinas, roads, and bridges to high-speed trains, high-capacity power plants, and tourism facilities.

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Cost Control Chief to manage and oversee cost control activities for our road project in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university
  • 15+ years of experience in infrastructure projects such as bridges, underpasses, overpasses, roads, and highways.
  • Minimum 5+ years of proven experience as a Cost Control Chief, managing cost control functions on large-scale infrastructure works.
  • Excellent command of English (written and spoken); Arabic proficiency is a plus.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive cost control systems for roads and bridges project, ensuring accurate tracking of expenses and adherence to budgets, which will enhance overall project profitability.
  • Conduct detailed cost analysis and prepare financial reports to provide insights into project performance, identifying variances and recommending corrective actions to project managers.
  • Collaborate with project managers and engineers to establish project budgets, ensuring that all cost estimates are realistic and aligned with project objectives.
  • Monitor ongoing project expenses, providing regular updates to senior management regarding financial status and potential risks that could impact budget adherence.
  • Lead cost forecasting efforts, utilizing historical data and market trends to predict future expenses and adjust budgets accordingly to maintain financial health.
  • Evaluate subcontractor bids and proposals, ensuring that all costs are justified and aligned with project specifications, which will contribute to informed decision-making.
  • Implement and maintain effective change order processes to manage scope changes and their financial implications, ensuring that all adjustments are documented and approved.
