Senior Design Engineer

IC İçtaş Construction is a global brand with over 50 years of experience in domestic and international projects. Since its establishment, the company has successfully completed numerous projects ranging from airports, ports, marinas, roads, and bridges to high-speed trains, high-capacity power plants, and tourism facilities.

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior Design Engineer to lead and support design activities for our road and infrastructure project in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
• 20+ years of experience in large-scale infrastructure projects, including bridges, underpasses, overpasses, roads, and highways.
• Minimum 5+ years of proven experience as a Senior Design Engineer, contributing to and leading design works on complex infrastructure projects.
• Excellent command of English (written and spoken); Arabic proficiency is a plus.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Autodesk Civil 3D.
• Experience in BIM methodologies and applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of roads and bridges, ensuring compliance with engineering standards and regulations while delivering solutions that enhance safety and efficiency.
• Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with client expectations and organizational goals.
• Conduct detailed analysis and design calculations, utilizing advanced engineering software to produce high-quality design documentation and reports.
• Review and approve design drawings and specifications, providing technical guidance to design engineers and ensuring accuracy and adherence to project requirements.
• Coordinate with various disciplines including geotechnical, environmental, and traffic engineering to ensure integrated design solutions that address all project aspects.
• Monitor design progress and performance, identifying potential risks and implementing mitigation strategies to ensure timely project delivery.
• Participate in site visits and inspections to assess construction progress and quality, providing feedback and recommendations to ensure compliance with design specifications.
