Information Technology Specialist

Role Description The Information Technology Specialist at (Saudi Heritage Preservation Society) will provide day-to-day technical support for staff, maintain computer systems, and ensure reliable network operations. This full-time, on-site role in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia involves installing, configuring, and updating hardware and software, monitoring system performance, and resolving technical incidents promptly. The specialist will manage user accounts and access permissions, enforce IT and security policies, and coordinate with vendors and service providers when needed. The role also includes documenting IT procedures, supporting digital tools used in heritage-related projects, and collaborating with other departments to align technology solutions with organizational needs.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Information Technology fundamentals and hands-on experience with enterprise IT environments.
• Candidates should possess Network Administration skills, including configuration, monitoring, and maintenance of LAN/WAN and related infrastructure.
• Candidates should possess Troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues efficiently.
• Candidates should possess Network Security skills, including basic firewall management, access control, and adherence to cybersecurity best practices.
• Candidates should possess Customer Service skills, with a focus on clear communication, user training, and empathetic support for diverse stakeholders.
• Relevant bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience with operating systems (Windows, macOS), productivity suites, and ticketing or helpdesk systems.
• Ability to work on-site in Riyadh, manage multiple tasks, and collaborate effectively in a multicultural, mission-driven environment.
