Job description

Job Summary

Responsible for leading all technical office activities including quantity surveying, estimation, cost analysis, shop drawings, technical submittals, engineering coordination, and technical support for construction and MEP projects.

Key Responsibilities

·       Manage and supervise Technical Office engineers and coordinators.

·       Review and approve shop drawings and technical submittals.

·       Prepare and review quantity take-offs and BOQs.

·       Lead project estimation and cost analysis activities.

·       Support Tendering Department in technical and commercial proposals.

·       Review specifications, drawings, and contract documents.

·       Coordinate technical matters with clients, consultants, and project teams.

·       Resolve technical issues during project execution.

·       Manage variation orders, claims, and technical contractual matters.

·       Support value engineering initiatives and cost optimization.

·       Monitor technical approvals and submission schedules.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.

Experience Requirements

Minimum 10 years of experience in construction and contracting companies, including direct experience in technical office management, quantity surveying, and project estimation.
