Job Description Summary-

The EHS Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations within the organization. They will develop and implement policies and programs to maintain a safe and environmentally friendly workplace.

Job Responsibility-

  • Develop and implement EHS policies and programs to ensure compliance with local regulations and standards
  • Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and risks
  • Train employees on proper safety procedures and protocols
  • Investigate accidents and near misses to determine root causes and implement preventive measures
  • Maintain records of incidents, injuries, and safety performance
  • Collaborate with management to address any safety concerns and make necessary improvements
  • Stay up-to-date on new regulations and industry best practices

Candidate Requirements-

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, or related field
  • Proven experience working in EHS compliance and regulations
  • Strong knowledge of local EHS laws and regulations
  • Excellent communication and training skills
  • Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
  • Certification in EHS (e.g. OSHA) is a plus.

Skills In-depth knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards

  • Strong understanding of risk assessment and management
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively train and educate staff on safety procedures
  • Ability to conduct audits and inspections to ensure compliance with regulations
  • Proficient in incident investigation and root cause analysis
  • Strong organizational skills to develop and implement safety programs
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with different teams and departments
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software
  • Certification in occupational health and safety (e.g. NEBOSH)
