Cost Controller – Retail (Trading Card Games & Collectibles)

We are looking for an experienced Cost Controller to support the financial and inventory operations of AOC in Riyadh.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage inventory costing, valuation, and stock accuracy across retail operations.
• Reconcile inventory movements between the ERP, POS, and physical stock.
• Monitor product margins, profitability, and pricing performance.
• Investigate stock variances and implement corrective actions.
• Support monthly and annual stock counts and inventory audits.
• Prepare accurate inventory and cost reports for management.
• Partner with Retail Operations, Procurement, and Finance to strengthen inventory controls and improve profitability.
• Monitor slow-moving, obsolete, and damaged inventory, providing recommendations to optimize stock levels.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in Cost Control, Inventory Control, or Retail Finance.
• Strong background in retail inventory management.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience using ERP and POS systems.
• Excellent analytical, reporting, and problem-solving abilities.
• High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail.

Preferred

• Experience within Trading Card Games (Pokémon, One Piece, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Magic: The Gathering) , collectibles, hobby, gaming, or specialty retail.
• Understanding of inventory valuation, pricing strategies, and gross margin management.
• Experience supporting multi-store retail operations is an advantage
