Civil Engineer - Steel Industries

Job Summary

LITCO Group is seeking a Civil Engineer with strong experience in steel structure projects in Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will support project execution, site supervision, technical coordination, inspections, and project documentation while ensuring compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and client requirements.

The ideal candidate should have experience in structural steel fabrication, erection, installation, subcontractor coordination, and project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Execution

• Supervise and monitor steel structure works and site activities.
• Coordinate fabrication, erection, and installation activities.
• Ensure work is carried out according to approved drawings and specifications.
• Monitor project schedules and support project delivery objectives.
• Assist in planning and coordinating site activities.

Technical Coordination

• Review structural drawings, shop drawings, specifications, and BOQs.
• Coordinate with project teams to resolve technical issues.
• Verify site measurements and installation requirements.
• Support preparation of technical reports and project documentation.

Inspection & Documentation

• Coordinate inspections with consultants and QA/QC personnel.
• Support preparation and follow-up of MIR and WIR/WMR submissions.
• Maintain project records and documentation.
• Assist in obtaining approvals and inspection clearances.

Subcontractor Coordination

• Coordinate subcontractors and monitor work performance.
• Ensure subcontractors comply with project requirements.
• Monitor manpower, materials, and equipment utilization.
• Support resolution of site-related challenges.

Quality & Safety

• Ensure compliance with project quality standards.
• Coordinate with QA/QC and HSE teams.
• Promote safe work practices and compliance with safety requirements.

Requirements:

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.

Experience

• Minimum 4 years of Civil Engineering experience in Saudi Arabia.
• Experience in steel structure fabrication, erection, and installation projects.
• Experience supervising site activities and subcontractors.

Technical Skills

• Ability to read and interpret structural drawings, BOQs, and specifications.
• Familiarity with MIR/WIR processes and inspections.
• Understanding of project execution and quality requirements.

Soft Skills

• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work effectively with consultants, inspectors, clients, and project teams.
• Good reporting and problem-solving skills.

Pay: ﷼7,000.00 - ﷼9,000.00 per month
