Pre-Contract Director

NOW HIRING A PRE-CONTRACT DIRECTOR

THE POSITION:

Responsible for providing strategic advice and input for the operation of projects, planning and scheduling, cost engineering, within the guidelines of management and in line with the client requirements, by utilizing the available resources to support and ensure that accurate and competitive quotations are prepared in a timely manner.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Review and approve cost plans, value engineering proposals, and procurement strategies.
• Oversee engagement with subcontractors and suppliers to secure competitive pricing and full scope coverage.
• Lead bid strategy and proposal development, ensuring timely submissions that reflect the company's value proposition and differentiation.
• Guide the pre-contracts process from early-stage client engagement through to contract award, ensuring robust pricing, programme alignment, and scope clarity
• Maintain strong internal alignment across departments and ensure seamless commercial handover to project teams.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Proven experience working with a fit-out contractor
• 8+ years of experience in a senior pre-contracts, estimating, or commercial leadership role, preferably within the design and build sector
• Experience with dealing with Tenders and BIDs
• Relevant degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field.
• Demonstrates applied knowledge of various forms of construction contracts in line with the essential job function.
