Senior Technical Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Civil Engineer to join our Technical Office team and support the successful delivery of large-scale landscape, infrastructure, and public realm projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and reviewing technical submissions, coordinating multidisciplinary designs, producing shop drawings, resolving site technical issues, and driving value engineering initiatives to ensure projects are delivered efficiently, economically, and in accordance with project specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Review contract drawings, IFC drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
• Prepare, review, and coordinate shop drawings for civil and landscape works.
• Coordinate with structural, architectural, MEP, irrigation, and site teams to ensure clash-free and approved drawings.
• Prepare grading plans, hardscape details, and construction drawings for landscape projects.
• Review subcontractors' shop drawings, calculations, and technical submissions before client submission.
• Resolve technical queries (RFIs) and provide practical engineering solutions during construction.
• Conduct value engineering studies to optimize cost, constructability, and project execution.
• Coordinate with consultants and clients to obtain approvals for technical submissions.
• Support quantity take-offs and material verification where required.
• Monitor site execution to ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
• Assist in reviewing method statements and material submittals.
• Participate in technical meetings and provide engineering support throughout the project lifecycle.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance within the Technical Office.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 8 y ears of experience in civil engineering, with at le ast 5 years in a Technical Office role .
• Strong experience in landscape, infrastructure, and public realm projects.
• Proven experience preparing and coordinating shop drawings for civil and landscape works.
• Strong knowledge of grading, hardscape, reinforced concrete, and steel structures.
• Experience coordinating with architectural, MEP, irrigation, and structural disciplines.
• Hands-on experience with technical submissions, RFIs, consultant approvals, and site coordination.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential.
• Good knowledge of Civil 3D, Revit, or other BIM software is an advantage.
• Experience with value engineering and cost optimization.
• Strong understanding of international construction standards and Saudi project requirements.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Saudi project experience is highly preferred.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working on major Saudi giga projects such as Diriyah, Qiddiya, Red Sea, or similar large-scale developments.
• Experience in landscape contracting companies.
