Gleeds in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has an exciting opportunity, supporting an iconic giga program in Riyadh. We are seeking a Commercial Contracts Claims Management professional, who wants to develop their career in a personable and professional environment.

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Managing projects to deliver high quality services and deliverables in accordance with the Gleeds procedures.
• Positively engaging with Clients and developing, growing and maintaining Client relationships.
• Review and respond to contractor contractual correspondence and notice letters
• Establish and defend entitlement on EOT, prolongation, and disruption claims
• Assess contractor submissions for substantiation and compliance with contract provisions ensuring that clear and auditable demonstration of entitlement and quantum are present.
• Manage a high volume of outstanding correspondence, ensuring timely and prioritised responses
• Implement and maintain correspondence tracking systems (in line with Client's document management systems) across multiple stakeholders and being able to provide real time, live updates.
• Coordinate multifaceted letter responses across technical, project controls, commercial, and contracts teams
• Engage confidently with complex, senior stakeholders — client and PMC level
• Experience working under FIDIC-based contracts (or variants thereof) in a Middle East context
• Awareness of the current contractor claims environment on Saudi mega-projects
• Producing and presenting reports to Clients.
• Advising Directors promptly of any issues that have arisen, or that might arise, on projects

Who we’re looking for:

Experience, Knowledge and Key Skills

• MRICS, FRICS, MCIArb, or equivalent Chartered statud
• LLM, BSc Quantity Surveying, Law degree or equivalent
• 15+ years post graduate demonstrable experience in commercial claims management
• 3+ years’ experience in Saudi Arabia
• 3+ years’ experience with a consultancy organization
• Experience of giga scale building projects
• Sound knowledge and practical experience of post contract claims management
• Clear and effective communication skills - both oral and written
• Ability to absorb complex information and assess requirements readily
• Fluent English level written and oral skills
• Transferable Iqama
