Job description

Qualifications & Experiences:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Occupational Health, Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Must have a minimum of 10+ years of experience in HSE training and development, with a focus on the construction or infrastructure industry.
  • Professional certifications such as NEBOSH Tutor, IOSH Approved Trainer, OSHA Approved Trainer, or equivalent are required.
  • OSH Practitioner or Professional Level Certification issued by the Ministry of HRSD, KSA (preferred)
  • Extensive knowledge of HSE regulations, standards, and best practices, particularly in high-risk environments.
  • Proven experience in developing and delivering HSE training programs for diverse audiences, including management, staff, and contractors.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and leadership skills, with the ability to engage and motivate learners.
  • Strong administration skills inclusive of MS Office
  • Proficiency in developing e-learning tools, including web-based training modules.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive HSE training strategy that aligns with the company organizational goals and industry standards.
  • Design, develop, and oversee delivery of HSE training programs to include:
  • classroom instruction, e-learning modules, workshops, and on-the-job training.
  • Conduct training needs assessments to identify knowledge gaps and create targeted training matrices and solutions.
  • Collaborate with HSE managers, project teams, and other stakeholders to ensure training content addresses current hazards, risks, and regulatory requirements.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, assessments, and performance metrics, and implement continuous improvements as needed.
  • Establish and maintain Training Records management solutions including reports to management
  • Ensure compliance with KSA and international HSE training requirements and standards.
  • Coaching and mentoring HSE trainers and coordinators to ensure high-quality training delivery.
  • Stay updated on the latest HSE training techniques, tools, and regulations, incorporating new methodologies into training programs.
  • Promote a culture of continuous learning and development within the organization, encouraging employees to enhance their HSE knowledge and skills.
  • Ensure training materials and resources are accessible and available to all employees.
  • Collaborate with external training providers to ensure that specialized trainings are delivered effectively and meets the required standards.
