Chief Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled Chief Accountant to join a leading real estate company in Riyadh.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing accounting operations, ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulations, and providing accurate financial reporting to support business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting operations and financial transactions.
• Manage month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Prepare and review financial statements and management reports.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS and relevant regulatory requirements.
• Monitor accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.
• Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies.
• Prepare tax and zakat-related reports and requirements.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Strengthen internal controls and accounting processes.
• Lead and supervise the accounting team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, including supervisory responsibilities.
• Previous experience in the real estate sector is required.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting.
• Familiarity with Saudi tax and zakat regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Professional certifications such as SOCPA, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent are preferred.
