Job Overview
Jensen Hughes has a rare and exciting opportunity for a talented Principal Fire engineer to join our UAE team and help us drive excellence across our projects and deliver world-class life safety solutions to our diverse client base across Middle East. In this role ,you will not only lead on some of the industry's most exciting projects but also have a key role in shaping the future talent within our teams through mentorship and development opportunities.
Job Responsibilities:
- Will be responsible for managing large and complex projects to ensure successful delivery to important clients.
- Will have the opportunity to work on a huge portfolio of projects across the Middle East and anywhere in the World, involving all kinds of buildings.
- Conduct Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) modelling and analysis for smoke movement.
- Develop and use other forms of Computer Modelling software such as CFAST, Pyrosim and Pathfinder to provide alternative fire engineering solutions.
- Manage personnel in a team of engineers in addition to mentoring and training graduates.
- Will be client facing role , manage site inspections and deal with construction related queries.
- Will have a responsibility on Business Development and finding new clients to help grow the business.
Requirements and Qualifications
- BEng/ MEng or equivalent
- Experienced working in a fire engineering consultancy, delivering fire strategy and fire safety consultancy services conducting fire risk assessments , developing fire management plans , fire protection design and analysis
- An articulate communicator with well-developed interpersonal skills
- Willing to be based in UAE and travel more than 50% across the projects sites
