Senior Specialist - General Ledger

Qiddiya Investment Company is seeking an experienced Senior Specialist - General Ledger to join our finance team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of the company's general ledger, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and internal policies. This position demands a high level of attention to detail, strong analytical abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee general ledger operations including journal entry processing and account reconciliations
• Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing activities
• Prepare and review financial statements and reports for internal and external stakeholders
• Collaborate with internal teams and external auditors during periodic audits
• Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records promptly
• Assist in enhancing accounting procedures and controls
• Stay current with accounting regulations and standards to ensure compliance

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum 2-4 years of relevant experience in general ledger or accounting roles
• In-depth knowledge of accounting principles such as IFRS or GAAP
• Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Effective communication and teamwork capabilities
• Professional certification (e.g., CPA) is advantageous
