Project Design Coordinator – Thermal Power Projects

Salary: SAR 12,000 Total Monthly Package (inclusive of base salary and all fixed allowances)

We are currently seeking a Project Design Coordinator to support the delivery of large-scale Thermal Power Generation projects in Saudi Arabia. This role will act as the key coordination point between EPC Contractors, Consultants, Owners' Representatives and internal stakeholders throughout the engineering design review and approval process.

Important Requirement

Candidates MUST possess a minimum of 10 years' experience working specifically on Thermal Power Generation Projects.

Applications from candidates without direct Thermal Power Plant experience will not be considered. Experience must be gained within:

• Thermal Power Plants
• Steam Power Plants
• Combined Cycle Power Plants (CCPP)
• Conventional Power Generation Facilities

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate engineering deliverables between EPC Contractors, Consultants and project stakeholders.
• Manage design review, approval and submission processes.
• Track engineering documentation, drawings, specifications and reports.
• Monitor schedules and ensure alignment with project milestones.
• Facilitate technical meetings and stakeholder coordination.
• Support risk management, change management and project reporting activities.
• Maintain document control and engineering records throughout the project lifecycle.
• Liaise with Operations, HSE, Security, IT and other internal stakeholders.

Requirements

✅ Saudi National (mandatory)

✅ Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (mandatrory)

✅ Minimum 10 years' experience on large Thermal Power Projects ( mandatory )

✅ Experience coordinating engineering deliverables within EPC project environments

✅ Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

✅ Experience with MS Project, Primavera, SharePoint, Aconex, ThinkProject or similar systems

✅ PMP Certification advantageous

✅ Familiarity with Owner's Engineer, Consultant or EPC environments preferred
