Quantity Surveyor

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor (QS) to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for quantity take-offs, cost estimation, contract administration, and project cost control to ensure projects are delivered within budget and in accordance with contractual requirements.:

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare quantity take-offs based on approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Develop and manage Bills of Quantities (BOQ).
• Perform cost estimation, price analysis, and budget preparation.
• Review engineering drawings and project documents to accurately measure quantities.
• Prepare and review contractors’ and suppliers’ payment certificates and invoices.
• Monitor project costs and track expenditures against approved budgets.
• Evaluate and manage Variation Orders (VOs) and assess their financial impact.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, and Project Management teams.
• Prepare periodic cost reports, forecasts, and progress updates.
• Review contracts and ensure compliance with commercial and financial terms.
• Support tendering, procurement, and contract administration activities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience in Quantity Surveying, Cost Control, or Contract Management.
• Strong knowledge of construction drawings, specifications, and contractual documentation.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, ERP Systems, and quantity surveying software such as PlanSwift or CostX (preferred).
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in real estate development, construction.
• Arabic language proficiency is a plus.
