Job Summary

Mobco Group is seeking an experienced Technical Office Engineer (Mechanical / Electrical) to join our project team for prestigious hospitality and high-rise developments in Riyadh and Jeddah. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical engineering expertise and hands-on experience in managing technical office activities, design coordination, shop drawing reviews, material submittals, and engineering documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring that all MEP works are executed in accordance with project specifications, approved drawings, quality standards, and project schedules.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and coordinate Mechanical or Electrical shop drawings and ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Prepare and review technical submittals, material submittals, method statements, and RFIs.
  • Coordinate with consultants, designers, subcontractors, and site teams to resolve technical issues.
  • Review IFC drawings and identify design conflicts, constructability concerns, and coordination issues.
  • Support engineering and construction teams by providing technical solutions and recommendations.
  • Coordinate MEP interfaces with architectural, structural, and other engineering disciplines.
  • Monitor design changes and ensure proper implementation across project activities.
  • Participate in technical meetings with clients, consultants, and project stakeholders.
  • Assist in quantity take-offs, variation orders, and technical evaluations.
  • Support procurement activities through technical review and approval of materials and equipment.
  • Ensure all engineering documentation is maintained and updated in accordance with project requirements.
  • Contribute to project planning and monitor engineering deliverables against approved schedules.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
  • 7–10 years of experience in Technical Office Engineering within construction projects.
  • Proven experience in hospitality and high-rise building projects is mandatory.
  • Strong technical knowledge of MEP systems, engineering standards, and construction methodologies.
  • Experience in shop drawing review, technical submissions, design coordination, and engineering documentation.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Familiarity with BIM coordination processes and multidisciplinary project environments.
  • Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and coordination abilities.

Preferred Requirements

  • Previous experience on large-scale hospitality, hotel, mixed-use, or tower developments.
  • Experience working with leading consultants and contractors in Saudi Arabia or GCC countries.
  • Knowledge of local regulations, international codes, and industry best practices.
  • Saudi Council of Engineers registration is preferred.
  • Ability to join immediately is mandatory.
