Job description
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and review General Ledger (GL) transactions to ensure accuracy, completeness, and proper accounting
treatment.
Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, provisions, and adjustments as part of month-end closing activities.
Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes.
Prepare account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Assist in preparing financial statements, management reports, and supporting schedules.
Perform accounting treatments that comply with IFRS standards and company policies.
support VAT activities.
Support internal and external audit.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Strong knowledge of IFRS principles and financial reporting.
Practical experience in GL accounting and closing activities.
Good understanding of VAT regulations and compliance requirements.
Advanced Excel skills.
Ability to work independently.
FMVA , CMA & DipIFR are added advantage.
