Job description

Key Responsibilities:

 Maintain and review General Ledger (GL) transactions to ensure accuracy, completeness, and proper accounting

treatment.

 Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, provisions, and adjustments as part of month-end closing activities.

 Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes.

 Prepare account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies to ensure accurate financial reporting.

 Assist in preparing financial statements, management reports, and supporting schedules.

 Perform accounting treatments that comply with IFRS standards and company policies.

 support VAT activities.

 Support internal and external audit.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

 Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

 Strong knowledge of IFRS principles and financial reporting.

 Practical experience in GL accounting and closing activities.

 Good understanding of VAT regulations and compliance requirements.

 Advanced Excel skills.

 Ability to work independently.

 FMVA , CMA & DipIFR are added advantage.
