BIM Architect (3 Years Experience) – Job Description

Position: BIM Architect
Experience Required: 3 Years
Industry: Architecture, Engineering & Construction (AEC)

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage architectural BIM models using Autodesk Revit and other BIM software.
• Prepare detailed architectural drawings, plans, sections, elevations, and schedules in accordance with project requirements.
• Coordinate with structural, MEP, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure clash-free and accurate models.
• Implement BIM standards, templates, and project workflows.
• Participate in model reviews and clash detection using Navisworks.
• Produce construction documentation and shop drawings from BIM models.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes, project specifications, and company standards.
• Support project teams throughout design development and construction phases.
• Maintain model quality and accuracy and update models based on design revisions.
• Assist in quantity take-offs and extraction of project information from BIM models.
• Collaborate with clients, consultants, and contractors to resolve design and coordination issues.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in BIM modeling and architectural design.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks.
• Knowledge of BIM standards and workflows (LOD, ISO 19650 is an advantage).
• Experience in multidisciplinary coordination and clash detection.
• Strong understanding of construction drawings and architectural detailing.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
• Familiarity with BIM 360, ACC, Dynamo, or Enscape is an added advantage.
