Senior Site Engineer – 380kV Substation

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled, detail-oriented Senior Site Engineer to lead and oversee the execution of 380kV Substation projects. In this role, you will be responsible for supervising daily site activities, ensuring strict compliance with Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) standards, and driving timely project delivery while maintaining the highest levels of safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Site Supervision: Oversee and manage day-to-day site installation and construction activities for 380kV Substation projects.
• Equipment Installation: Monitor the installation, testing, and commissioning of critical High Voltage (HV) equipment, including GIS, Transformers, Switchgear, and Protection Systems.
• Standards Compliance: Ensure all engineering work is executed strictly in accordance with SEC standards, approved drawings, and project specifications.
• Team Coordination: Act as the primary site focal point to coordinate with supervisors, foremen, subcontractors, and the internal project management team.
• Progress Tracking: Monitor construction milestones, track daily/weekly site progress, and provide structured updates to the Project Manager.
• QA/QC & HSE: Enforce rigid compliance with site safety regulations (HSE) and strict quality control standards.
• Technical Problem Solving: Proactively identify field bottlenecks, site issues, and technical challenges, implementing effective engineering solutions.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate, up-to-date site records, daily logs, inspection requests, and project documentation.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Power Engineering.
• Experience: Minimum of 10 to 15 years of hands-on experience specifically dedicated to 380kV Substation projects.
• Technical Expertise: Proven track record in site supervision, installation, and commissioning of substation equipment and High Voltage (HV) systems.
• Standards Knowledge: Strong, demonstrable familiarity with Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) standards and procedures.
• Soft Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, and inter-team coordination skills.
• Resilience: Ability to work efficiently under demanding site conditions and deliver under tight project deadlines.

Pay: ﷼13,500.00 - ﷼17,500.00 per month
