Mechanical Engineer

General Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated Mechanical Engineer to join our team and take full responsibility for all mechanical engineering aspects of our projects. As the primary mechanical expert in the company, you will lead the design, coordination, and execution of mechanical systems, including HVAC and plumbing. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders to ensure that mechanical solutions are compliant with technical standards, local regulations, project schedules, and budgets.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee all mechanical aspects of the project, including HVAC and plumbing design, coordination, and execution.
• Monitor project progress to ensure adherence to schedules and budgets.
• Collaborate with civil engineers, architects, and contractors to integrate mechanical systems into construction projects.
• Supervise on-site mechanical teams or technicians as needed to ensure high-quality implementation.
• Design and develop HVAC and plumbing systems for various projects, ensuring compliance with relevant codes, standards, and project requirements.
• Analyze mechanical codes and ensure compliance with Saudi Arabian regulations.
• Conduct site visits to inspect installations, troubleshoot issues, and provide technical guidance.
• Prepare and review pricing for mechanical works, including quantity take-offs, material specifications, and cost estimates.
• Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to procure equipment/materials and review quotations.
• Attend client meetings to present updates, address concerns, and align deliverables.
• Stay updated on industry advancements in sustainable design and energy efficiency.
• Support risk assessments and implement safety protocols for mechanical operations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• Target Years of Experience: 3 - 5 Years
• Proven analytical and problem-solving skills in mechanical systems design.
• Excellent communication skills for team collaboration and client interactions.
• Ability to work independently and in multidisciplinary teams.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, and mechanical simulation tools.
• proficiency in Revit software (preferred).
• Knowledge of Saudi Building Code (SBC) and safety regulations.
• Experience in project management, budgeting, and scheduling.
• Field experience in residential or commercial projects is a must.
• Availability of a valid Saudi driving license and a car.

Contract Period: 1 year – Renewable
