Network Security Engineer

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Network & Security Engineer with 2-3 years of hands-on experience in enterprise networking and cybersecurity technologies. The ideal candidate will have practical expertise in switching, routing, firewalls, and endpoint security solutions, along with a strong foundation in network infrastructure and security best practices.

Candidates with exposure to Operational Technology (OT), Industrial Control Systems (ICS), and IoT security environments will have an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure, implement, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure, including switching and routing environments.
• Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot firewall and security solutions.
• Monitor network performance, security events, and system availability.
• Support the implementation of cybersecurity controls and security best practices.
• Assist in diagnosing and resolving network and security-related incidents.
• Collaborate with internal teams and customers to ensure reliable and secure network operations.
• Maintain technical documentation, network diagrams, and configuration records.
• Participate in infrastructure upgrades, security assessments, and project deployments.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or a related field.
• 2-3 years of professional experience in Network and Security Engineering.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco and/or Huawei Switching and Routing technologies.
• Experience managing and supporting network security solutions, including:
• Fortinet Firewalls
• Palo Alto Firewalls
• Trend Micro Security Solutions
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, DNS, DHCP, and routing protocols.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Basic understanding of OT (Operational Technology), IoT, and Industrial Network Security environments.
• Industry certifications such as:
• CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional)
• FCP (Fortinet Certified Professional)
• PCNSE (Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer)
• Experience working in enterprise, industrial, or critical infrastructure environments is a plus.
