Manufacturing Engineer (m/f/d)- 100%

Location : Mezzovico (TI), Switzerland

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage and maintain manufacturing master data within SAP and MES systems, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and compliance
• Support and improve MES (Manufacturing Execution System) processes, contributing to digitalization and Industry 4.0 initiatives
• Create, update, and maintain MPI (Manufacturing Process Information) and MPD (Manufacturing Process Data) to ensure standardized and controlled production processes
• Contribute to PRM (Process Risk Management) activities, including pFMEA development, updates, and risk mitigation actions
• Support management of Non-Conformances (NC) and CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions), including root cause analysis and implementation of corrective measures
• Analyze manufacturing and quality data to identify trends, root causes, and opportunities for improvement
• Perform and support engineering studies to analyze and optimize manufacturing processes, including process flow analysis, time studies, capacity evaluation, and identification of improvement opportunities
• Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, productivity, and cost reduction using Lean and structured problem-solving methodologies
• Provide daily engineering support for production, including troubleshooting of process and data-related issues
• Support process validation activities (IQ/OQ/PQ) and ensure proper documentation
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Production, Quality, Maintenance, IT) to ensure robust and compliant manufacturing processes
• Support new product introduction (NPI), process transfers, and system/data setup
• Ensure compliance with internal standards, GMP, GDP, and applicable regulations (e.g., ISO 13485, FDA)

YOUR BACKGROUND

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Automation, Electrical or related field)
• 1–3 years of experience in manufacturing, engineering, or a regulated environment (medical device/pharma preferred)
• Experience or strong interest in master data management (SAP/MES environment)
• Familiarity with MPI/MPD, NC/CAPA processes, and pFMEA (risk management)
• Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and quality systems
• Certification in Lean Six Sigma / proven experience is a plus
• Experience with ERP (e.g., SAP) and/or MES systems is a strong advantage
• Fluent in Italian and English; German is a plus
