Software Engineer

sizeless is building the data layer for the infrastructure under our streets. A construction crew films an open trench with a phone, and our system turns that recording into a 3D model, recognises what is in the ground, and produces the documentation the industry needs – CAD, BIM, GIS and quantities – in a fraction of the time it takes today.

It is a real problem with real customers: construction and utilities still document reality by hand, and almost nothing about that process has changed in decades. We are a small technical team founded out of ETH Zürich, and we are looking for engineers who want to build the systems that make this work in production.

Tasks

• Build the product our customers use: the capture app in the field and the workspace where results are delivered

• Work across the stack - web, mobile, backend and the data pipelines behind them

• Keep the processing side reliable: long-running jobs, large files, and a lot of 3D data moving between systems

• Build the internal tooling the rest of the team depends on

Requirements

• Solid engineering fundamentals in TypeScript, Python or a comparable language

• Comfortable moving between product code and infrastructure

• Real leverage from AI-assisted development, whatever your setup

• Ownership: you take problems personally and see them through

• Full working proficiency in English; German is a plus, not a requirement

Experience with 3D data, mobile apps or geospatial systems is welcome, but not a requirement. We care more that you learn quickly and take details seriously.
