Job description
My client is a specialist in Turbomachinery and Rotating Equipment especially in the oil & gas sector.
For their Zurich office they seek an experienced AMT Engineer.
Key Responsibilities
▪ Perform laser tracking and precision measurement (AMT) at global customer sites
▪ Take technical ownership of field projects including planning, coordination, execution and customer communication
▪ Prepare accurate technical reports, measurement documentation and project records
▪ Contribute to continuous improvement, standardization and knowledge transfer within AMT
Background and Experience
▪ Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent technical training with hands-on experience
▪ Strong background in reading technical documentation and writing structured reports (mechanical drawings and P&ID)
▪ Field service experience in rotating equipment of the energy sector
▪ Background in technical project execution
▪ Ability to lead small teams, technical discussions and training sessions
▪ Flexible for international travel and demanding/remote site work
▪ High flexibility and excellent physical fitness are musts
