Senior RF Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Senior RF Engineer to join our engineering team and contribute to the development of advanced RF and microwave systems.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in RF circuit design, simulation, prototyping, testing, and troubleshooting, with the ability to independently develop RF hardware from initial concept through to production-ready design.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop RF and microwave circuits, modules, and subsystems.
• Develop and optimize prototypes in the laboratory.
• Perform RF measurements using VNAs, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, power meters, oscilloscopes, noise figure analyzers, and other RF test equipment.
• Troubleshoot and optimize RF designs based on laboratory measurements.
• Work closely with PCB, FPGA, embedded software, mechanical, and system engineering teams.
• Support design transfer to manufacturing, production testing, and troubleshooting.
• Investigate new RF technologies, components, and design approaches.
• Ideally also develop high speed PCBs

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in RF or Microwave Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
• At least 5+ years of professional experience in RF or microwave hardware development.
• Strong understanding of radio techniques and principles - mixers, frequency conversions, PLL.
• Strong understanding of digital signal processing - FFT, correlation analysis, sampling principle etc.
• Experience with RF simulation tools such as Keysight ADS, Cadence AWR Microwave Office, Ansys HFSS, CST, or equivalent.
• Experince in Altium designer
• Strong practical experience with RF laboratory equipment and measurement techniques.
• Preferable experience in high speed PCB development
• Good technical documentation and communication skills.
• Good English and/or German.
