Junior RF Engineer

We are looking for a motivated Junior RF Engineer to join our engineering team and develop practical expertise in RF, microwave, and signal-processing systems.

This position is intended for a recent graduate or early-career engineer with a strong academic background in RF engineering, microwave engineering, telecommunications, signal processing, or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop RF and microwave circuits, modules, and subsystems.
• Develop and optimize prototypes in the laboratory.
• Perform RF measurements using VNAs, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, power meters, oscilloscopes, noise figure analyzers, and other RF test equipment.
• Troubleshoot and optimize RF designs based on laboratory measurements.
• Work closely with PCB, FPGA, embedded software, mechanical, and system engineering teams.
• Support design transfer to manufacturing, production testing, and troubleshooting.
• Investigate new RF technologies, components, and design approaches.
• Ideally also develop high speed PCBs

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in RF or Microwave Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of radio techniques and principles - mixers, frequency conversions, PLL.
• Strong understanding of digital signal processing - FFT, correlation analysis, sampling principle etc.
• Good technical documentation and communication skills.
• Good English and/or German.
