Role Description The Safety & Heavy Equipment Trainer is a full-time, on-site role based in Ad Dammam, responsible for delivering high-quality training on safe heavy equipment operation and workplace safety practices. Day-to-day tasks include planning and conducting classroom and practical training sessions, preparing instructional materials, and aligning course content with Qualivex’s structured learning and competency-based approach. The trainer will assess trainee performance, provide constructive feedback, and document outcomes to ensure that participants achieve defined learning objectives. The role also involves maintaining up-to-date knowledge of relevant safety standards, contributing to program development and improvement, and collaborating with clients and internal teams to adapt training to specific site conditions and equipment. The trainer is expected to model safe practices at all times and support a strong safety culture within the institute and client organizations.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Health & Safety, including practical knowledge of workplace hazard identification, risk assessment, and safe work practices.
• Relevant safety certifications such as NEBOSH or equivalent, with the ability to apply standards to heavy equipment and industrial environments.
• Proven Training and Safety Training experience, particularly in delivering both theoretical and hands-on sessions for adult learners.
• Excellent Communication skills, with the ability to explain technical and safety concepts clearly to diverse audiences in English; Arabic language skills are an advantage.
• Demonstrated experience operating or supervising heavy equipment in industrial or construction settings, with a strong focus on safe operation.
• Ability to develop and adapt training materials, conduct competency-based assessments, and maintain accurate training records.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple training schedules and client requirements.
• Relevant technical, engineering, or safety-related diploma or degree preferred; additional industry-specific certifications are beneficial.
